This lift is designed to engage a roll or
reel by its core utilizing an expanding tip. This method of
handling the product is applicable to applications where the
roll or reel is received in an "eye to the sky" orientation
and needs to be rotated 90 degrees for placement on a fixed
shaft at the process equipment. Lifting height and load
capacity can be specified.

When the mandrel
is expanded, a safe light comes on,
signaling that it is safe to lift
the roll. By utilizing a
lead-in on the mandrel tip, the end
effecter self aligns with the role
core. The operator does not
have to leave his/her position to
perform these functions.
